How to copy old messages from any Telegram chat

Open your chat with Junction Bot and click on Menu.

Click on Create Forward.

Select a source from the list from which messages will be sent. If the source is not in the list, try pinning it to your chats first and then repeating the search.

Select a destination from the list where the messages will be sent.

In the Basic settings of forwarding, select what you want to copy: old messages (history).

Selecting the interval type All messages will start copying all messages.

If you select the Message Numbers interval type, only messages with ID numbers that fall within the interval you specify will be copied.

To find out the ID number of a message, you need to right-click on the message you want to start copying from, click on Copy message link and paste it into any text editor (e.g. Notepad). Do the same for the message that should be copied last.

Let's look at the link of the first message: https://t.me/c/2301153917/38, where “38” is its ID number. Let's look at the link of the last message: https://t.me/c/2301153917/271, “271” is its ID number. Let's add the numbers of both messages to the interval.

You can set the time for posting messages as an interval.

Enabling the Remove safe pause option allows you to forward much faster than Telegram allows, but this is fraught with a temporary ban on publication. It is better to enable this option if you need to copy several messages or when using the Copy via account delivery mode, or via a bot in case of flooding.

This option is provided in case of problems during copying. Ask - the bot will ask you what to do with the error. Skip message - skip the message with the error, Wait and retry delivery - wait until the message is copied completely without an error.

Next, you need to choose on behalf of whom the messages will come - on behalf of the bot or on behalf of your account.

Click on Start, after which the history will begin copying.
