How to forward messages between topics in Telegram groups

Choose the source - a group with themes from which messages will be forwarded. In the screenshot, this is a group called “Test_themes_1”.

Now you need to create a destination - a group to which messages will be sent. In the screenshot, "Test_themes_2" group has been created. Go to the Manage Group settings.

In the Group Settings section, turn on the Topics option.

Next, create the first topic.

For example, let's name the topic topic_1_1 and click Create.

Post any message to the newly created topic to complete its creation.

Similarly, create as many topics as you need in the target group. We created 2 topics "topic_1_1" and "topic_2_2".

Open your chat with Junction Bot and click on Menu.

Click on Create Forward.

Select the source group - "Test_themes_1".

Select the destination group - Test_themes_2. In this instruction, you don't need to click on Create a new chat because it has already been created earlier.

Next, we get to the Topic Mapping settings. Here, a default forwarding rule has already been created: From all topics to the General topic, which can be deleted.

We see that the following topics have appeared in the source: topic_1, topic_2.

We see that the following topics have appeared in the destination: topic_1_1, topic_2_2.

We make a match between topics: topic_1 and topic_1_1.

topic_1 and topic_1_1 appeared on the first line. Add more mappings if needed.

Note the option All other topics -> General. Add it in case new topics are created in the source group. Then messages from new topics will be forwarded to the General of the destination group.

Click on Next.

We get to Basic settings. Next, you need to choose which messages will be forwarded: New messages or old messages (history).

If you choose to forward New messages, then click Create.

The forwarding has been created.
