With these settings you can change the look of media captions, author names and set the length of messages.
Captions
Where is it Menu → Forwarding settings → Choose source and destination → Caption
You can choose the way you want to receive / forward a media (image, video etc) and its caption.

/setting caption + one of the following options: separate - an image and its caption will come as two separate messages Ex./setting caption separate
caption_name - image&caption will come as 1 message with the channel's name & link to the original channel (please note that the caption's body will be truncated in case of exceeded length). Ex./setting caption caption_name
text_only - no media will be sent, only its caption. Ex./setting caption text_only
You can adjust this setting in the menu, but also you can use the commands. If you are using the commands, to apply this setting to one channel only, replace the command /setting
with /settingchannel source_channel_reference

Author
Where is it Menu → Forwarding settings → Choose source and destination → Author
This setting applies only to messages already containing author’s name. You can choose how the name of a messages’ author will be displayed.
If you want to receive only messages from a certain user, then enable this setting and set up a filter for the user’s name with a command /filter.
Please notice that the bot can’t magically find the information about the author if it’s not present in the message. So if you don’t see this information in the message in your Telegram client, then this setting will not have any effect.

Shorten long messages
Where is it Menu → Forwarding settings → Choose source and destination → Brief
Long messages will be shortened to a certain length. Recommended values are between 150 (twitter-like posts) and 1000 (several paragraphs). To disable this feature set this value to 0.

Stories
Where is it Menu → Forwarding settings → Choose source and destination → Stories
You can choose the way you want to receive Stories.
Currently, Stories are supported on Direct Connections only.

ignore - stories will be ignored Ex./setting story text_only
