Forward Telegram channel

Use Junction Bot to forward Telegram channels. What is the difference between copying and forwarding Telegram channels? Copying creates a new message, which is a clone of the existing one. Forwarding forwards an existing message using Telegram’s forwarding mechanism. In forward-restricted channels only copying is possible.

How to create a new automatic forwarding in Telegram?

To create a forwarding rule to automatically copy new Telegram messages use the command /new. After the new rule is created, use the command /settingchannel to change the delivery mode for the rule to forward_client.

How to forward existing messages in Telegram (a history of messages)?

Using Junction Bot you can copy existing messages from a Telegram channel or group. Because the bot copies, but does not forward messages by default, you need first to create a forwarding rule using the command /new. After the new rule is created, use the command /settingchannel to change the delivery mode for the rule to forward_client. After that use the command /history. It will forward the existing messages using the settings from a forwarding rule you have created before.

Forward private Telegram channel

Junction Bot can forward private and public Telegram channels, personal chats and chats with other bots. There are two scenarios with private Telegram channels: channels where you have a working invitation link and channels where you don’t have an invitation link but you are a member of this channel.

If you are using the Standard account, please remember that private telegram channels are guaranteed to work only until the invitation link is active.

If you need to forward from private channels without an invitation link or you want to get messages from other bots, you need to use the direct connection.
